Mark Mersman
Founder & CEOMark Mersman is a seasoned energy finance executive with over 30 years of experience spanning investment management, carbon markets, and real asset development. He is the Founder and CEO of Cordonix™, where he leads development and commercialization of the CDX-1™ post-plug well monitoring system - a patent-pending subsurface device designed to close the oil and gas industry's post-plug data gap by channeling diffuse methane migration into a single monitorable point source.
Mark is a co-inventor on three patents addressing methane detection and subsurface carbon management, and has built his career at the intersection of energy, finance, and environmental outcomes - bringing a unique blend of entrepreneurial execution and capital markets expertise to the emerging category of Post-Plug Integrity Assurance.
Director of Business DevelopmentMichael Goodman
Michael Goodman, P.G., is a Licensed Professional Geologist with experience in environmental geology, subsurface characterization, and methane emissions monitoring across the oil and gas industry. He serves as the Director of Business Development for Cordonix, where he applies his expertise in post-plug subsurface gas behavior and leak detection to support deployment of the CDX-1 monitoring unit. Michael holds an M.S. in Geology from Brigham Young University and has worked extensively in plug-and-abandonment operations and methane leak detection and quantification, bringing rigorous field and analytical experience to the emerging infrastructure for permanently plugged-well monitoring.
